Home Port Staff

Ralph Smallwood • Director/Vocational Instructor - 30 years Teaching Experience; 15 years with at-risk youth, BA in Vocational Education, WA state teaching certificate.

Mike Baker • Maritime Education Teacher - 7 years commercial fishing in Alaska; 16 years experience with at-risk youth; 6 year Commercial Boat Building experience. BA in History, WA state teaching certificate, 100 ton U.S.C.G. Master's License.

Rebekah Keene • Core Curriculum teacher - 5 years teaching experience; BA in Psychology, Alternative Education, Gifted Education and Assessment, Masters in Teaching, Post-Graduate studies include working with students with severe behavior disorders and educational technology, WA teaching certificate endorsements: Special Education K-12, Elementary K-8, Psychology 4-12, English/Literature 4-12

Teresa Loree • Office Manager - 20 years experience office management, 8 years experience in Whatcom County schools districts. Attended WSU in marketing
